ON&ON in-flight entertainment at Air New Zealand
With the individual on-demand in-flight entertainment system passengers can watch what they
want, when they want. And now they can get at least an extra hour of viewing/watching time on
flights from London, with ‘ON&ON’ (gate to gate) entertainment feature, which means the system
is on from the moment you get on the plane until the moment you get off.
From August until December 2008 Air New Zealand is progressively introducing ON&ON seat back
in-flight entertainment on all A320s and 767s. On Australian and Pacific Island flights you
can enjoy the same movies, programmes and music as soon as you get on the plane, till the moment
you get off.

Singapore
Airlines’ regional airline SilkAir’s welcomes its newest aircraft
SilkAir customers will soon travel in greater sophistication and warmth with the arrival of
the airline’s newest Airbus A320 aircraft.
SilkAir, a subsidiary of Singapore Airlines, introduces a new cabin design featuring a fresh
autumn colour scheme that soothes and welcomes upon sight. This 'warm' charm is set to
progressively replace the classic 'cool' look of the rest of SilkAir’s fleet.
The aircraft is equipped with new ergonomic seats designed to fit the body shape most
comfortably. These seats are fitted with flexible headrests to enhance passengers’ travel
experience. Business Class passengers have the extra privilege of luxuriating in stylish
leather-upholstered seats. SilkAir’s latest fleet addition also offers more spacious overhead
compartments for smooth and easy storage of hand luggage.
SilkAir has earned a reputation as an outstanding full-service premium carrier. SilkAir
recently ranked fifth amongst the top ten international airlines in
Travel + Leisure magazine’s
World’s Best Awards. Climbing four spots from ninth ranking last year, this is SilkAir’s
fourth consecutive year on the list and it is once again the only regional carrier among the top
ten international airlines. Rankings are measured from an average of readers’ ratings in five
areas: cabin comfort, food, in-flight service, customer service and value to customers.
The Airbus A320 brings SilkAir’s fleet to a total of 15, and is the first of 12 aircrafts on
firm order to arrive.
